Stars & Stripes Picnic at WWI Memorial
Tuesday, July 4th
The National WWI Museum and Memorial is hosting Kansas Cityโs official 4th of July and fireworks celebration. Celebrate our nationโs independence at the Stars and Stripes Picnic with family and friends. There will be over 50 vendors to visit and grab a bite. Plus, live music and fireworks over the memorial. Arrive as early as 3 p.m. for picnicking and shopping. Fireworks will begin after dusk.
Lenexa 4th of July Community Parade

The parade is back! This annual tradition in Old Town Lenexa is one of the longest Fourth of July parades in KC. Catch the parade along Santa Fe Trail Drive and Pflumm Road.

This run will be held in person this year! Run fees are $33 from June 1st-July 3rd. The day of the race will be $38. The race is in Old Town Lenexa.

Village Fest in Prairie Village

Before you head out to view the fireworks show, check your destination’s site to see if there are any rules and guidelines for capacity, pets, chairs, and beverages you can bring. Some places are located on school and church campuses so glass and alcohol may be restricted.
