18 Awesome Vacation Bible School Camps All Around Kansas City Metro
We’ve found so many great options for Vacation Bible School in and around the Kansas City metro. Be sure to visit each website and/or call each location. Some are still finalizing their details, dates, and times. Know of one we should add? Email us the scoop and we will get it added.
June 23rd-26th from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm or 6:00 pm-8:15 pm for children aged 4 through 5th grade. Each VBS session will have rallies, music, crafts, games and more.
July 14th- July 17th from 9:00 am-11:30 am at the Leawood, West, Overland Park, and Brookside locations and July 14th-15th at 5:30 pm-8:00 pm at the downtown and Blue Springs location. Camp is open for grades K-5. Vacation Bible Camp is four days of fun, friendship, and faith-building!
Camp will end with a Wild Kingdom day at the KC Zoo July 19th from 9:30-12:00pm.
This VBS is open for grades Pre-k through 5th grade. This year’s theme is Passport to Prayer. Your kiddo will make friends and have a great time learning and playing.
VBS is June 16th-19th and is open for grades K-5th.
Vacation Bible School is held each year in June in the School Gymnasium for students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade in the following school year.
July 14th-18th from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm for ages 4 through 5th grade.
Bible Basics
Each day, kids will learn a Bible Point that corresponds to a Bible story and key Bible verses This VBS experience is for children aged 4 through fifth grade.
VBS is June 23rd-27th from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm for ages K-5th grade. This year’s theme is The Great Journey with Jesus! Your child will learn through play and build friendships and faith.
The First Church of the Nazarene has not announced their 2025 VBS plans just yet. However, each year they do have a great one planned. Stay tuned for more details.
This year, VBS runs July 28th- August 1st from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm. Children will learn how to work together through learning and activities. VBS is open for children entering kindergarten through 6th grade.

Join Discover Church VBS from July 21st-24th from 6:30-8:30 pm. VBS is open for kids entering 1st grade through 5th grade. Get ready for a great time learning God’s word and play games.
June 2nd-5th from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Head into a week of fun at this FREE VBS. They have multiple locations to choose from. There will be games, snacks, and fun with friends.
Lee’s Summit Community Church is hosting Vacation Bible School for infants through 5th grade. Upir kiddos will learn about Jesus and make new friends during the great VBS.
This VBS will look closely at the details of God’s amazing world and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. Through fun nature activities, the kids focus on the big picture as they go to Bible study, Music, Crafts and Recreation. Magnified VBS is open to children kindergarten through 6th graders (last grade completed in the 2024-2025 school year).
