This brand-new park in Prairie Village is one-of-a-kind. There are 3 stocked fishing lakes with catfish, bluegill & other fish. There are also 2 awesome playgrounds with rock walls, a ropes course, unique swings & more. Both play areas are designed for children of different ages, so everyone can play (2-5 years old & 5 & older)

Mozingo Lake was ranked one of the “Top 100 Bass Fishing Lakes” by Bassmasters magazine, so it’s definitely one of the best. The lake provides a fishery habitat for bass, crappie, catfish, bluegill & walleye to plentifully fill in the lake. You can find good fishing spots, hiking, boating, equestrian areas, & even a remote-control airfield. There are also many events for kids and fishing tournaments held here.

This is one of the best places to fish (in our opinion) because there is a playground & lots of room to play! (almost 13 acres that is) The kids seem to get tired of fishing way before dad does, so it’s nice to have a space to run around & a playground to burn off their energy.
This park is open from 5am to midnight each day.
Chaumiere Lake

Lake does not currently meet health and safety standards for human or pet contact. Fishing is available once safety standards are met.
Chaumiere Lake is a good fishing spot near Kansas City and is periodically stocked by the department of conservation. You can fish for catfish at Chaumiere Lake until 10 pm each night.

The Blue Springs Lake at Fleming Park is a great place to fish all day. The lake has 720 acres for your family to enjoy. On top of being a great fishing spot you can boat, water ski, tube, jet ski…there is SO much to do here! Your family will spend all day playing at the beach & can enjoy a picnic at one of the shelter houses or campgrounds.
Hawk Ridge Park

The park offers a small, stocked lake, making it a great place to fish for those who live in Raymore/surrounding areas. There is a limit of fish you can catch at the recreational lake, so be sure to check you don’t go over! (2 bass, 4 channel catfish, 30 crappie, 20 blue gill)
