Tuesdays through Thursdays at 10 am your kids can enjoy a movie for only $3! The Kids Summer Movie Series begins June 5th and runs through the end of summer. See below for each week’s Summer movie 🙂
Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse:
The Summer Movie Clubhouse is a ten-week program of recently released G and PG films for kids. The cost is $1 per person per movie at the door the morning of the program. A ten-week series punch card is available at the theatre box office for only $5!

Friday evenings this summer from July 6 – August 4. End your work week with top local bands and favorite food trucks. Finish the evening with a movie under the stars at Crown Center Square. Activities begin at 6 p.m. with the movie starting at approximately at 9 p.m. FREE admission.

Moonlight Movies are shown every Thursday at 9pm throughout the summer. The movies are projected onto the side of the Pharaoh Theater on the Independence Square. Bring the whole family every week for a fun FREE event!

This summer, starting June 5th, Monday – Thursdays at 10am & 12:30pm. The theatre will show two movies a week and you choose the film you would like to see! Each movie is $2 per ticket or purchase a $15 punch card for 10 admissions!
Bring a blanket or lawn chair for Moo-vie Night at the Farmstead. Gates open at 7: 30 p.m. Moo-vie begins at approx. 9: 00 p.m.)

Alamo Drafthouse Kids Camp is an affordable way for families to watch great films together all summer. Choose your own ticket price – $1-$3 and buy your tickets online to reserve your seats in advance. 100% of ticket sales are donated to local nonprofits in our surrounding community.

Enjoy free outdoor movies on the first Friday of the month June – October at Summit Fair. Bring your own chairs/blankets! Kids under 12 also get a FREE shaved ice from Kona Ice!
June 1 at 7:45pm: The Wizard of Oz: Activities will begin at 7:30PM, which include character visits and photos with Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion and the Wicked Witch! Enjoy live entertainment from local children’s entertainer and face painting!

Watch a movie with your feet in the water or the sand. $5 per car. Gates open at 7:30pm, movies begin around dark (8:45pm). Bring your own blanket or chairs for beach seating. No outside food or beverages but concessions will be available.

Come watch Space Jam for FREE on June 15th at T.B. Hanna station. The movie begins at dusk and refreshments will be provided.
One Friday a month the Johnson County Library hosts Movie in the Park at a different library location. Check the website for specific locations for each movie date.

Tuesdays you can see ANY movie for only $6/person. This is a great way for the whole family to see a movie…for cheap!
Each Friday in May & June your family can head to Hyde Park for a Summer movie for only $6. Entry is FREE with a costume. There will be a concert at 7:30 pm and movie at 8:30 pm. Have fun with your family!

Each Tuesday the library hosts a FREE movie at 2 pm. There are also movies that show on Fridays, Saturdays, and Thursdays, but those showings are not every week. Check the Olathe Library website for dates, locations, and what movie is showing. 🙂
Movies include Mary Poppins, Annie, Ferdinand, Willy Wonka, & LEGO Ninjas. Movies run on Tuesdays through August 13th.
Briarcliff Trails of Our Community is hosting FREE outdoor movies all summer long! Saturday nights at approx. 8:45 p.m. head over to Mulberry Lake across from The Village at Briarcliff. Bring chairs and snacks, they will bring everything else. Summer movies include Grease & Frozen!

Kids Summer Movies Pro Tips:
- Arrive early for best seats, especially if you’re going in a large group
- For outdoor movies, pack blankets, chairs and plenty of pillows
- For evening movies, dress your kiddos in PJs ahead of time so you can easily get them to bed when you get home
- Create your own movie memories for your family and friends by hosting your own backyard movie night.
