17607 NE 52nd St, Liberty, MO 64068 Explore the 60 acres of planted pumpkins, corn, and soybeans, plus another 20 acres set aside for pumpkin entertainment and fun things to do with your family. Explore the live animal barn, trike path, play yard, Colossal Fossil House, Little Budโs Railroad, old-fashioned tractor wagon rides, famous pumpkin doughnuts, homemade fudge, and so much more! There are also special events on weekends like Uncle Lesterโs Pig Races, Antique Pedal Tractor Carousel, and Uncle Earlโs Mining Camp.
Kangaween at Kangas Playcentre and Cafe

This not-so-spooky Halloween event at Kangaโs includes food, drinks, crafts, rides and of course a costume contest with Kanga! Tickets are $13.49 per child and as always adults are FREE!
Electric Poe Cemetery Reading
October 17th-November 3rd
At the Coterie Theater 2450 Grand Blvd Suite 144 Kansas City, MO 64108.
This special, outdoor event allows you to get spooky with your family. A performer will read stories from Edgar Allen Poe to get you in the Spooky Season vibe! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets.
Ghost Tours at the John Wornall House Museum
Tours are happening through October. Check the link above for specific dates and times.

This is known as one of the most haunted places in Kansas City, so definitely worth the spooky adventure!
You must be 16 to participate, so it is not for young kids, but a very cool event. You can buy tickets online too.
There are also paranormal investigation events happening too if you’re looking for really spooky Halloween events!
Deana Rose Childrenโs Farmstead Pumpkin Hollow

Kids can explore tons of Halloween & Fall activities during this fun event.
There is a Pumpkin Patch, Corn maze, hay pyramid, corn box, hay slide, and more fall fun at Deanna Rose Farmstead. You can also visit the animals and year-round attractions on the farmstead. A horse-drawn wagon ride even takes you to the pumpkin patch and back!

WaterFire KC – Light Up the Night
Come enjoy a fun, fire-filled night at the Country Club Plaza! Your family will enjoy live music, performance art, snacks & more throughout the night. There will be live shows from 7 to 10 pm and bonfires from 7 to 11 pm.
Admission is FREE to this awesome event!
Prairie Moon Pumpkin Run

Run with your family and friends. After the race, enjoy pumpkin painting, chess, additional games, yummy tacos, coffee and baked goods.

This Halloween event is one night only, so donโt miss out! There will be a REAL fortune teller, fire dancers & other performers, a haunted trail, and a kidsโ trail thatโs less spookyโฆ
Tickets are $20 for the ยฝ mile haunted trail and $10 for the fortune teller.
Deanna Rose Childrenโs Farmstead Night of the Living Farm

Come out to Deanna Rose for a fun Halloween event for kids! After dark, the lanterns come out and families can enjoy some scary and not-so-scary events!

This Free trunk-or-treat event for kids is located in the parking lot at the Southeast Community Center. Come out dressed in your costume and visit each trunk for yummy goodies in a safe, kid-friendly environment!
Graveyard 5K Run & Walk

There are many influential people from Kansas City who are buried at the cemetery. Come run or walk to support the community while getting in the spooky spirit!
This annual Graveyard 5L to help raise money for the cemetery. Come out and help raise money for the Elmwood Cemetery. After, stick around for light snacks!

Families will enjoy fall activities like hayrack rides, games, crafts, candy, and more! This event is open to all ages and admission is less than $5 per person ages 3 and up. Parking will be located at Olathe North High School where a free shuttle will be provided!

Start the day with a Costume Contest in Howard Station Park at 9:30 a.m., then head downtown for some fun trick or treating.
Hy-Vee Halloween Events

Kids can enjoy kidsโ activities, games, and free giveaways at your local Hy-Vee location. If youโre looking for a fun thing to do this Halloween weekend, this is a great option!
Haunted Swamp at Olathe Community Center

Come out and swim in Olatheโs very own Haunted swamp!
Youโll have a spooktacular time swimming in our Haunted Swamp. The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. with pumpkin decorating and lifeguard trick-or-treating then at 6:45 p.m. we will have a pumpkin dive followed by an open swim in the swamp. Preregistration is required for kids only. Parents are free. Please no costumes.
Kid Safe Halloween at Shoal Creek Living History Museum

$8 per person 10 Years Old and Younger FREE
Trick or Treat throughout the village (please have kids bring their own bag for candy). Horse rides are $5 per person.
