Drums 101 (Ages 7+)

At Bach to Rock®, getting started with drumming is easy! Drums 101 offers beginner drum lessons in a fun, group setting. With small class sizes and a step-by-step curriculum, this 10-week class can help anyone learn the drums for the first time. Class duration is 45 minutes.

Drums 101 gives new drummers all of the core skills they need to master their kit. Students start with the basics and work their way up to performing their first set of songs! Our small class size gives students the chance to learn with peers, while also benefiting from direct instruction and feedback.

Our beginner drum lessons are open to ages 7+, with classes available online or in-person. We also offer curriculum for students who have experience drumming, but who want a stronger foundation of core skills.

After graduating from Drums 101, students can enroll in private drum lessons with Bach to Rock. In these one-on-one lessons, students can choose which songs and genres they want to learn, making learning to drum more fun and engaging!
