‘Cook Like a King’ Cookbook Dinner

An Experience Not to Miss! Rye welcomes Chef Melissa King award-winning chef, author, and Top Chef: All-Stars Los Angeles Winner for a one-of-a-kind culinary celebration. Join us for a 5-course dinner honoring Melissa’s debut cookbook, Cook Like a King: Recipes from My California Chinese Kitchen. Expect bold flavors, soulful cooking, and a menu inspired by Melissa’s Chinese-American roots and California sensibility. Chef Megan Garrelts first met Melissa early in her career when they worked together at the Getty Center Restaurant in Los Angeles. Today, Melissa is a nationally celebrated chef with an impressive résumé of television accolades, guest-chef appearances, and a cooking style that radiates joy, intention, and creativity.
