St. Patrick’s Day Run and Little Shamrock’s Run (Kid’s Race)

This is part of the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Run with the Kansas City Running Club!
But…this fun race is, just for kids! The St. Patrick’s Day run will happen at 10:00 am.
Annual Westport St. Patrick’s Day Run
Saturday, March 11th
Elite runners start at 10:00 am and all other paces start at 10:01 am. This run is a Kansas City tradition! Dress up in your best all-green outfit and run 4 miles through Westport.
Leavenworth Irish Parade
Friday, March 17th at 12:00 pm
Head to downtown Leavenworth to celebrate like the Irish at their 40th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Lawrence St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Friday, March 17th at 1:00pm
Come enjoy all the St. Paddy’s Day fun in KC with your kiddos & explore downtown Lawrence.

41st Annual Brookside St. Patrick’s Day Warm-Up Parade

This year’s parade theme is Chasing Rainbows which is a perfect theme for St. Patrick’s Day for kids. Bring your family out before St. Patrick’s Day to celebrate at this family-friendly event!
Over 100 organizations/floats from across KC will enter the parade this year, so you don’t want to miss this. There will be marchers, dancers, & vehicles decorated with their finest green!
Check out wagons, bikes, classic cars, bands, drill teams, Irish dancers, mounted patrol, music, & other festivities during the event.
39th Annual Shawnee St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Sunday, March 12th at 1:00pm
The St. Patrick’s Day parade has a theme – “Shawnee: Irish Shenanigans Start Here”
The parade will start on Johnson Drive & Monrovia, then marches down Johnson Drive towards Nieman Rd. so, dress up in your green & head out!
Martin City St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 12th at 2:00pm
Martin City’s parade theme this year is “Happy Go Lucky.” More details will be announced as the parade gets closer!

2nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Downtown Overland Park.
Saturday, March 11th
Downtown OP is hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.
The parade starts at 10:00am on 79th and Floyd will then head west on 79th St to Santa Fe Dr and then south towards Robinson St. There will be festive floats, food, and a lot of family fun!
