Our Mission

Birth it Forward’s Mission is to provide evidence-based support, education, and advocacy to birth workers, families, and the community through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum periods. We unite birth workers with the mothers and families we serve to prevent negative maternal, family, and birth worker outcomes to build a stronger community.

We support our doulas with continuing education and a team of other doulas backing them up to ensure they are supported while they support you. Birth it Foward believes every family has the right to the highest level of care and support. With your purchase of our birth and postpartum packages, you are helping us to provide the same support that you receive to others that otherwise would not be able to purchase doula services. Your purchase enables families of abuse, teen parents, and low-income families to get support, advocacy, and care.

Prices

WIC recipients are automatically qualified to receive free doula services. If you are receiving WIC or want to apply for a sliding scale rate, please fill out our request form for free or discounted services.
