Price Chopper
With multiple Price Chopper owners in KC and over 40 total locations, the hours differ.
Their chain has done a great job of making those updated hours available to check online! When you click on store locator in top right corner, you can see all with updated hours. All open at 6 or 7 am and most close at 8 pm with a few closing as late as 10 pm.
Not all Price Chopper Google listings have correct hours listed as of April 8, 2020.
Hy-Vee
Starting March 19, Hy-Vee’s new store hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, until further notice.
The reserved hour will be from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., seven days a week, and is designed for these customers:
- Ages 60 and older
- Expectant mothers
- Anyone with an underlying health condition(s) that makes him/her more susceptible to serious illness
Aldi
All Aldi’s locations will be open 9 am – 7 pm and closed on Sundays.
Whole Foods
All KC metro Whole Foods will be open from 8 am – 8 pm.
For customers who are 60 and older, Whole Foods will open one hour before regular hours (7 am), so they can shop safely.
Hen House
All stores now open from 6 am – 8 pm, with 6 am – 7 am recommended for seniors and guests with disabilities.
Sun Fresh
All Sun Fresh locations will now close at 8 pm.
Apple Market
Cosentino’s Apple Market closes at 8 pm and R&R closes at 7:30 pm.
Thriftway
Thriftway will open at normal time and close at 9 pm.
Target
All Target stores will continue to open at their regularly scheduled times and close no later than 9 p.m. each day.
Walmart
U.S. stores will adjust operating hours to 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Many locations will only have 1 set of doors open, so keep that in mind when parking.
Sam’s Club
All Sam’s Club locations will open at 9 a.m and close at 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday and Sunday hours will remain 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Starting March 26, Sam’s Club locations nationwide will offer early shopping hours every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. for seniors and those with disabilities or compromised immune systems. This includes our pharmacy and optical centers and will last until further notice.
Costco
Effective Friday, April 3, Costco will allow no more than two people to enter the warehouse with each membership card and U.S. Costco warehouses will close at 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
From 8 to 9 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, Costco warehouses will open for members ages 60 and older, and for those with physical impairments.
The pharmacy will be open, but the Costco Food Court will be closed during these hours.
