The Walking Dead is Donating to Help Fight This
If you’re like me, you have an unhealthy obsession with Walking Dead.
Now, we’re not getting into the heavy debate of what’s better, the early seasons or new ones. We’re here to tell you some good news!
They’re helping local communities. Here’s how:
I’m sure you’re all aware that production on every major TV show, film…basically everything has been shut down. This includes the Walking Dead.
So, their production crew & actors came up with some unique ways to help out communities across the country. Norman Reedus is also doing his part to help out! Read below:
Walking Dead TV Show:
Because the show does use medical equipment in different scenes, there is a lot of safety equipment and medical supplies just laying around. So, the cast and crew decided to make a difference.
The Walking Dead crew donated safety equipment and necessary supplies to Atlanta hospitals (the area where they film the show).
While the show filming has been postponed, you can be sure the show will go on! Writers are still working at home to craft the best stories possible…yay. 😊
Norman Reedus:
Whether Daryl is your favorite character or least favorite, you can’t argue he’s doing some great work…
Norman Reedus, the actor who plays Daryl, has pledged to donate ALL the proceeds from his art gallery website to help fight our current situation.
Where to Shop?
The Big Bald Gallery, a website run by Reedus’s team, sells his art, photography books, signed prints of The Walking Dead cast & other fun memorabilia. You can find fun things if you’re a fun of the show, including:
- Signed pictures of The Walking Dead cast
- Limited edition metal prints
- T-shirts with his art printed on them
- Other apparel
If you love The Walking Dead, you can definitely find something you’ll love. Plus, ALL the proceeds are going to relief efforts and donations, so you’ll be helping out a great cause with your purchase!
You can also donate directly to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, which Daryl has advocated people do if they can afford to help out.
We hope you find something you like!
