Winter Magic is basically a drive-through Christmas party in Kansas City! It’s a holiday lighting event put on in association with the Kansas City, Missouri Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners.

How does it work? Our visitors purchase tickets (one per car-load) in advance here on our website. On your day of arrival, you’ll cruise  through the park which we’ve transformed into a modern holiday light experience. How long is it? The drive is one-mile-long and completely adorned with game-changing holiday light displays.

What will you see? While traversing the lights experience, you will see twelve themed areas. Drive through the longest animated light tunnel in the Midwest (300ft!!). See sections dedicated to the 12 Days of Christmas, a toy workshop, stained glass nativity. Gaze our spinning trees, lighted animals in the zoo area, and the KC Proud section.

Then, trip out in our candy blacklight area. There are snowflakes and Candy Canes galore! Lots of new drive under lighted canopies and even more.

Have you had enough? No! We’ll give you a lesson in taste when you see our beautiful lighted spheres. And lastly, you’ll party away as you cruise through Pixel Town.
