And there’s no better place to get started than our Rock Band Camps! \nOpen to musicians of all skill levels\, Rock Band Camps offer a fun and easy way for kids to join a band for the first time. \nAt the start of camp\, each student is assigned to a band based on their age and skill level. Many of our bands include campers who are playing an instrument for the very first time! \nDuring camp\, bands will receive coaching from experienced musicians. We also offer tips and instruction to individual students who want to build their skills. Our instructors are experienced musicians\, including professional touring and studio artists. \nDepending on each band’s skill level\, we encourage students to choose which songs they want to perform. Our song library includes 400+ songs across a wide range of genres\, with arrangements for all skill levels. Skilled musicians can even write and perform their own songs\, with help from experienced songwriters. \nBy the end of the camp\, each band will have the chance to perform on stage and record in a real music studio. This way\, every camper gets the chance to develop stage presence and confidence as a performer!

DESCRIPTION:At KC Watersports we offer a unique opportunity for Scouts ages 7+ to earn their watersports merit badge without the need for a boat! At our facilities we use overhead cables with ropes to pull people around both our beginner and our advanced lake. Anybody can learn how to wakeboard\, kneeboard\, or waterski with the help of our experienced instructors. At KCW\, we understand the values that the Boy Scouts bring to the community. ​ \nHere’s how it works:\nEach Pass includes a 2 hour pass on the cable including all necessary equipment & a seat for the classroom portion\nClassroom portions will be held the 30 mins following the time slot booked.\nIn order to complete the merit badge each scout must pass both on water skills and the classroom portion (We do not complete requirement 3 – the BSA swimmer test – this must be completed prior to arriving)\nEvery participant will need to have a current-year waiver on file\n(filled out by a parent or guardian if under 18)\nShow up about 15 minutes early for ensure waivers are correct and to get your wristband\nA swimsuit\, towel\, and positive attitude are a must (and we recommend sunscreen too) \nWhat we do for you:\nProvide all the necessary equipment for a safe environment\nGo over all the safety precautions before anyone gets on the water\nStep-by-step instructions on how to get up on the water and make turns\nFinally\, achieve that watersports merit badge!!

At our facilities we use overhead cables with ropes to pull people around both our beginner and our advanced lake. Anybody can learn how to wakeboard\, kneeboard\, or waterski with the help of our experienced instructors. At KCW\, we understand the values that the Boy Scouts bring to the community. ​ \nHere’s how it works:\nEach Pass includes a 2 hour pass on the cable including all necessary equipment & a seat for the classroom portion\nClassroom portions will be held the 30 mins following the time slot booked.\nIn order to complete the merit badge each scout must pass both on water skills and the classroom portion (We do not complete requirement 3 – the BSA swimmer test – this must be completed prior to arriving)\nEvery participant will need to have a current-year waiver on file\n(filled out by a parent or guardian if under 18)\nShow up about 15 minutes early for ensure waivers are correct and to get your wristband\nA swimsuit\, towel\, and positive attitude are a must (and we recommend sunscreen too) \nWhat we do for you:\nProvide all the necessary equipment for a safe environment\nGo over all the safety precautions before anyone gets on the water\nStep-by-step instructions on how to get up on the water and make turns\nFinally\, achieve that watersports merit badge!!

Filled with fun\, creativity\, and group activities\, Rock City World Tour Camp is a great way to introduce children to music. \nIn Rock City\, kids learn about core musical concepts\, like loud and soft\, fast and slow\, and high and low notes. Each concept is linked to a children’s story and an instrument. This way\, campers can learn these concepts and discover different types of instruments through the power of story! \nRock City story time also includes fun\, movement-based activities. This allows campers to express themselves through music and dance. \nOur kids music camps expose campers to a wide range of instruments. Over the course of Rock City\, kids are introduced to instruments like the hand-drum\, recorder\, and keyboard. At the same time\, campers learn fundamental skills that prepare them for future music lessons. \nBach to Rock® music camps for kids also tap into a number of key early childhood skills. Through Rock City\, young campers can build skills like counting\, pattern recognition\, hand-eye coordination\, social skills\, and auditory awareness.
