B&B Theaters Kids Summer Movie Series
B&B Theatres provides deeply discounted admission in their Kids Summer Movie Series.
On select days (Tuesday through Thursday), you can bring your kids to a movie for $5.00 (just $3.00 if you’re signed up for their FREE Backstage Loyalty program). See a full list of kids’ summer movies below:

Starting June 10th and running through August 15th, your family can participate in Cinemark 20 and XD in Merriam KS Merriam’s Summer Movies for Kids ClubHouse program.
Participants can enjoy $1.75 movies (per person, per movie).

Moo-vie Night at Deana Rose Farmstead
Location: Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead: 13800 Switzer Rd., Overland Park, KS.
Celebrate National Dairy Month by spreading your blanket out on the grass and enjoying a free movie night at Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead.
This family-friendly event will take place on August 24th from 5:00-10:00 pm. They’ll have special dairy treats and activities for the family.
Movie Night at the Farm
Head to Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead on September 14th from 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm for more family fun. The movie selection this year is Frozen. Enjoy a night under the stars while catching the ever popular Frozen on the farm. Don’t forget your blankets!
Sand Cinema (Long View Lake Beach)
Make a splash!
Watch a movie with your feet in the water or the sand. $10 per car. Gates open at 7:30 pm, and movies begin around dark (9:00 pm). Bring your own blanket or chairs for beach seating. No outside food or beverages but concessions will be available.

Gardner Music and Movies in the Park
Come to the park to enjoy a FREE, fun summer night with the family. There will be music, movies, activities & more.

Each movie begins at dusk and is FREE for the whole family to enjoy. Check out the movies and dates below. Movies start between 8:30-9:00pm.

Summer Movies in the Park: Lenexa
Pack your lawn chairs and blankets and bring your family to enjoy an evening under the stars. Each movie will have different activities like lawn games & live music. Summer movies start at dusk, but you can find a full schedule online for music, games, & other activities.

Kids Summer Movies Pro Tips
Arrive early for the best seats, especially if you’re going in a large group. Some events required sign-ups or advanced tickets, so be sure to check online for event-specific details.
For outdoor movies, pack blankets, chairs, and plenty of pillows. You may also want to consider bringing bug spray or sunscreen depending on the time of day.
For evening movies, dress your kiddos in PJs ahead of time so you can easily get them to bed when you get home. This is a parenting pro tip we learned long ago…
You can also create your own movie memories for your family and friends by hosting your own backyard movie night. Consider buying disposable cameras for added fun. You will have pictures to remember the night by & kids love taking photos with it
