MCPL Summer Reading Program
Thereโs a special summer reading program at MCPL โ Telling Tales Summer Reading Program will celebrate telling stories of all kinds.
The program typically runs from June through August each year. All your family has to do is read for 20 minutes a day for it to count! Thatโs easy enough for your younger kids to read on their ownโฆ
Bonner Springs Library Summer Reading Program
The Summer Reading Bingo Program with Bonner Springs City Library is open to all ages. Starting May 28th, visit the Bonner Springs City Library for a Bingo card to complete your summer reading activity. Once itโs completed, bring it back to the library for prizes. This summer reading program ends July 27th.
Johnson County Public Library Summer Reading Program
The Adventure Awaits Summer Reading Program will be at Joco libraries. This summer reading program starts in June and will end July 31st with an ending showcase of contest winners, storytime, and more. Visit their link to download your reading log, or you can pick it up at any of their branches.
Kansas City Kansas (KCK) Public Library Summer Reading Program
The KCK Public Library Summer Reading Program, Adventure Awaits, is open for kids, teens, and adults this summer. This reading program is perfect for the whole family. Join the program from June 1st-July 31st. For every 100 minutes you read, up to 500 minutes, you’ll earn a free book. Plus- there is a special grand prize.
Olathe Public Library Summer Reading Program
Olathe Public Libraryโs Summer Reading Program at the Olathe Public Library Summer Reading Program runs from May 20th through August 4th. Grab a book, and keep track of your reading time and titles to earn prizes and FREE books. Register your family today and start reading.
Cass County Public Library Summer Reading Program
Tails and Tales Summer Reading Program will also happen at the Cass County Public Library. Their Summer Reading Program starts June 1st and ends July 31st. Register your family today for a summer of reading and prizes!
Kansas City Public Library Summer Reading Program
The Kansas City Public Library Summer Reading Program for youth and adults is back this summer. The 2024 summer reading program at the KCPL usually starts around June 1st. Log daily reading and earn prizes throughout the summer. More details to come!
North Kansas City Public Library Summer Reading Program
The NKC Public Library Summer Reading Program for Kids is open for all ages. Registration opens June 1st. Log your books for the chance to win prizes.
