This is part of the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Run with the Kansas City Running Club!
But…this fun race is, just for kids! The St. Patrick’s Day run will happen at 10:00 am.
Annual Westport St. Patrick’s Day Run
Saturday, March 9th
Elite runners start at 10:00 am and all other paces start at 10:01 am. This run is a Kansas City tradition! Dress up in your best all-green outfit and run 4 miles through Westport.
Leavenworth Irish Parade
Friday, March 17th at 12:00 pm
Head to downtown Leavenworth to celebrate like the Irish at their 41st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Lawrence St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Friday, March 17th at 1:00 pm
Come enjoy all the St. Paddy’s Day fun in KC with your kiddos & explore downtown Lawrence.

Come watch the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in North Kansas City.
The Snake Saturday Festival will be filled with other fun St. Paddy’s events too!

42nd Annual Brookside St. Patrick’s Day Warm-Up Parade
March 16th at 2:00 pm
This year’s parade theme isMarch Magic which is a perfect theme for St. Patrick’s Day for kids. Bring your family out before St. Patrick’s Day to celebrate at this family-friendly event!
Over 100 organizations/floats from across KC will enter the parade this year, so you don’t want to miss this. There will be marchers, dancers, & vehicles decorated with their finest green!
Check out wagons, bikes, classic cars, bands, drill teams, Irish dancers, mounted patrol, music, & other festivities during the event.
40th Annual Shawnee St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Sunday, March 12th at 1:00 pm
The St. Patrick’s Day parade has a theme – “Shawnee: Irish Shenanigans Start Here”
The parade will start on Johnson Drive & Monrovia, then marches down Johnson Drive towards Nieman Rd. so, dress up in your green & head out!
Martin City St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 10th at 2:00 pm
Martin City’s parade theme this year is “Shamrocks & Smiles” Starting at the corner of Washington Street and 135th Street where it will end at Holmes rd around 4:00pm.
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with kids at these fun St. Paddy’s Day events around town. Don’t forget to wear green!
KC Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 17th at 11:00 am
This year’s parade theme is “50 Cheers to 50 Years.” Head downtown to watch the parade on Broadway between Linwood & 43rd Street.
Don’t miss this classic KC tradition in Midtown & Westport – it’s always a highlight for us!
2nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Downtown Overland Park.

Downtown OP is hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.
The parade starts at 10:00am. There will be festive floats, food, and a lot of family fun!
