He just made a big purchase with some of the money from his record-breaking Chiefs contract.

The KC Royals made a statement Tuesday morning announcing our beloved Mahomes has found something he wants to buy…
…being part owner of the KC Royals!
“We are very proud and excited to have Patrick as our partner in the ownership group of this franchise,” John Sherman, the Royals’ chairman, CEO and principal owner, said in a statement.
This makes Mahomes the youngest part-owner in the history of sports!
A True Love of Baseball
You may not know that Patrick was also a baseball star in his younger years.
His family is also deeply rooted in baseball. Mahomes’s father was a pitcher for the Red Sox, Twins & Mets. His godfather was also a professional baseball player.
According to the father of Mahomes, “Baseball had been pretty much his whole life growing up.”
He’s Committed to KC
Patrick Mahomes continues to show Kansas Citians that he is committed to our city. He’s signed a record-breaking deal with the Chiefs to extend his contract and continues to invest in our community.
Mahomes and his girlfriend are very involved in charity work and continue to invest time, money and effort into bettering our hometown.
