Kansas City Zoo
The KC Zoo is live streaming 24/7 inside the penguin exhibit. It’s a great break from the craziness of the news cycle right now.
Pandas Live Streaming: Explore.org
You can watch pandas living their best lives at Wolong Grove. Who doesn’t want to watch cute, cuddly pandas rolling around all day? It’s the break everyone needs!
Explore.org is the largest network of animal live cams so be sure to explore all the videos they have…
You could create an entire week lesson on animals using their videos.
Jellyfish Live Stream at Monterey Bay Aquarium
You can watch a live stream of their aquarium tank to get a glimpse into the life of underwater animals. Sometimes there isn’t anything on the screen since the fish & aquarium life can swim away but its still so comforting!
You can also find TONS of other live streams at Monterey Bay Aquarium online.
The Sea Otter live cam runs from 10 am to 10 pm each day, so you can check this out during “schooltime”
The Coral Reef cam is open from 12:30 pm to 8:30 pm (Pacific Time) You can also explore the Kelp Forest cam, and Shark cam from 10 am to 10 pm.
Houston Zoo Animal Cams
Depending on which animals are your favorite, The Houston Zoo cams may be your favorite option!
You can check out the Gorillas, Giraffes, Elephants, Chimps, Rhinos & other animals. You can even get a glimpse into the life of ants!

Cincinati Zoo at Home Safari & Live Stream
While the children are out of school, this zoo is doing wonders for exploring at home, including at At-Home Safari! They provide tons of resources for families to plan their own safari with the live videos…like this porcupine!
They will also be offering Live Stream at 2 pm (our time) each day of different animals. This is a great way to incorporate Science into your child’s schedule while they are at home.

Smithsonian Zoo Web Cams
The National Zoo offers many live cams of animals at the different exhibits. Last time we checked the website was down, but it is definitely worth including since they have so many resources. They will back up in no-time!
The Georgia Aquarium
This Atlanta aquarium has round-the-clock live streams for you to enjoy. Whether you want to watch in the middle of the day or you can’t sleep at night, there’s something for you.
Watch animals like piranhas, jellyfish, penguins & beluga whales (among many other animals).
Wild Earth Live Streams: 2x a Day
These are live streams from South Africa, so it’s like traveling half way around the world!
Hosted on Twitch, animal experts will tell you facts, answer questions that you leave in the comments and guide you through learning about different animals – perfect for Science class!

If the above aquarium live stream isn’t that interesting, check this one out. You can watch 24/7 so no matter what time of day (or night) you want to relax, it’s always available.
This is also a great thing to have playing in the background while doing school work or chores since it has calming effects…
