There are TONS of fun things to do & class to take, including classes, joining a house, creating a character & so much more!
You choose a dorm to live in & will be awarded house points for completing different activities and lessons. They keep a ranking of each member’s house points so you can watch yourself rise in the ranks!
What’s Included?
There are 7 classes you can choose from first:
> Charms (CHRM-101)
This basic charms class is for year one students. It teaches the basics of spellcasting, as well as important wizarding laws.
> Herbology (HERB-101)
First-year students will learn the study of herbology and how the different elements of plants can help wizards in many different ways.

> Astronomy (ASTR-101)
This is a class all about the stars and outer space. You will learn how the Wizarding World views space & what they teach at Hogwarts about it!
> Defense Against the Dark Arts (DADA-101)
This is another year one class that will build a foundation of the dark arts and how to defend against them. This is the beginning of your true magical education.
> Potions (PTNS-101)
You will learn an introductory course in potion-making and what goes in to each position. This is a first year course designed to teach students potion safety, terminology, how to use potions & more.
> Transfiguration (TNFG-101)
If you’re looking to be a magical creatures expert, this course is for you. You will learn the science of transfiguration, in addition to the laws regarding transforming into other creatures. You will also learn the different offshoots of transfiguration.

> History of Magic (HOM-101)
If you’re into history, this basic history of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will help you understand how their world came to be, as well as different theories about historic events.
> Botanique (BOTA-201)
This botany class is in French, but if your child is learning the language in school (or wants to learn) it’s perfect! You will learn how to utilize plants to improve daily life, make options and contribute to your well-being.
> Year Six Break (BREAK)
This is an advanced course that will contain multiple lessons for students to complete. It includes a full schedule and announcements regarding the “school year”.
Other Fun Things to Do
In addition to the Hogwarts courses, there are also role play games, a newsroom, forums & other fun activities and ways to connect with fellow lovers of Harry Potter.
You can also complete the below activities to connect with others and explore further.
Choose a Dorm:
This is the next step. After you’ve enrolled in classes, you will choose a dorm & meet others – that’s where the magic begins.
You can choose a specific dorm within your house OR join a random dorm
After you’ve enrolled in classes, you will choose a dorm & meet others – that’s where the magic begins.
You will be in a group with others from your house, where you live chat & create a unique news feed. You can even create your own dorm (group) if you’d like!
Quizzes:
Once you are in a dorm, there will be Harry Potter quizzes you can take. These will test your knowledge on a wide variety of Harry Potter topics, so be sure to test your skills.

How to Enroll?
To start, you’ll need to sign-up. Then, you will create your character, which includes choosing your house. While usually the sorting hat chooses for you, his powers don’t work over the internet…
Creating the account will add you to the social network of Potterheads around the world.
Next, you choose who you are. Each title comes with a long description of who you are, or you can choose to write your own:

- Hogsmeade Shopkeeper
- Diagon Alley Shopkeeper
- Owl Post Office Employee
- Howarts Express Driver
- Ministry Wizard

Or, create your own persona/job.
After you’ve created your persona, you will enroll in courses, choose a dorm & be all set to explore the virtual Hogwarts!
