Christmas Trees are some of the few evergreens that aren’t highly toxic to the animals, so they make for an awesome winter treat.
They also not only enjoy eating the leaves, but also use the remaining trunk and branches as mini scratching posts once they’ve eaten them down.
Our cattle and pigs especially enjoy fluffing the trees and honestly play with them more than eat on them. The goats on the other hand will eat everything including the outer bark!
Why not donate your old tree to animals who would love it?
