Prior to dinner I enrolled into the Ruby Tuesday club, which allows me access to weekly coupons, and early access to daily specials and promotions.
For signing, up they gave me a free appetizer. …who doesn’t love free food?
Ruby Tuesday’s Fajitas:
Fajita Fiesta indeed…Ruby Tuesday has managed to create some wonderful fajitas that not only rival your favorite Mexican restaurants but they did it under $8!
You have 3 options: grilled chicken, shrimp or veggie. These fajitas are a great addition to the vast menu already served, so your whole family can find something they like on the menu…
Pair with Tito’s Strawberry Lemonade and you’re in for a treat. We couldn’t decide between shrimp or chicken, which was impossible, so we went with both!
Chicken Fiesta Fajitas
The wait was worth it when the fajitas arrived. Chicken grilled to perfection served with buttery, crisp tortillas.
Shrimp Fajitas
If you’re like me and enjoy the heat, I would recommend the shrimp fajitas. Seasoned and grilled they will melt in your mouth!
Back Ribs & Tater Totchos:
Ruby Tuesday was a great choice for a Moms Night Out Dinner Date. I started off the evening ordering a strawberry rose sangria from their $5 drink specialty menu. This light, refreshing drink paired perfectly with their create your own salad bar.
For my free appetizer, I ordered their new Tater Totchos – Crispy tater tots topped with melted cheddar, queso, bacon,tomatoes, scallions, and sour cream. This was amazing!
For dinner I ordered the half – rack Fall-Off-The-Bone Baby Back Ribs, with a side of Mashed Potatoes
Being a born-and-raised Kansasan, I know a good rib when I taste one. Ruby Tuesday ribs hit the spot. The ribs were super tender and high quality.
No Moms Night Out Dinner date can be complete without dessert. My friend and I split their new Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie. It was a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie served with vanilla bean ice cream, drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce. yum!
Bonus: Salad Bar
In addition to the yummy dinner items, Ruby Tuesday offers their fresh salad bar for just $3.99. Or ,you can be completely sinful and have chips and white queso for $1.99.
I decided to fair on the lighter side and enjoyed the fresh salad. Their salad bar offered fresh cut vegetables as well as fruit and various pastas.
Being a Sunday evening I was little worried if the salad bar would be fully stocked and fresh, which it was. Ruby Tuesday allows you to add the endless create your own salad bar to any entree for just $3.99. (deal!)
What did we Think?
Ruby Tuesday’s atmosphere is a mix of casual but comfortable dining. There was no wait to be seated, the restaurant was clean and right away we was greeted by super friendly staff. Towards the end of our dinner the manager came by our table to say hello and ask us how our food and service were.
They pride they take in customer satisfaction shows from the second I walked in the door.
Overall, I was very satisfied of the overall experience of eating at Ruby Tuesday. I recommend it, and plan to visit there again soon with my husband and two kids. Ruby Tuesday offers a kids eat free night on Tuesdays from 5 pm – close with the purchase of an adult entree item.
I plan to take full advantage of this special on my next visit to Ruby Tuesdays.
