John Muth is back, bringing more wonder and mystery, this time in a story for Halloween.  He escapes the gory, creepy/ candy acquisition dichotomy of the season and gives us a story evoking the "hallows" of old, illuminated by his stunning watercolors.  And be sure not to overlook the author's note at the end of the story or the delightful endpapers!
