Exclusive iFamilyKC Kids Club Event Recap:
Boo Bash at Arrowhead Stadium
Our house has been Halloweening out this year! (That’s a word, right?) We’ve been to the pumpkin patch (a couple times), to a trunk or treat, to World’s of Fun and we have watched scary movies, decorated pumpkins and made monster cookies and we are not even out of October yet. This year though, was the first time I have ever gone to the Boo Bash at Arrowhead Stadium, and I have to say- it is my new favorite Halloween event!
iFamilyKC was delighted to have a booth at this year’s Boo Bash and we were in good company! Legoland and Sealife KC, Science City, Main Event and many more all had tables where kids could interact and score goodies. Countless face painters, balloon artists, and airbrush tattoo artists were there to fancy up the kids. KC Chiefs staff and cheerleaders were handing out candy and goods and there were two bounce houses- one a traditional bounce house and the other an inflated football obstacle course.
My kid’s loved the areas set up to do art projects, and we even got a few extras to do at home. Another big hit was the “Play 60 Area” where kids ran through some drills and then caught a football. This event had the perfect blend of opportunities to wear the kids out, and sit down to catch your breath.
Families were invited to sit together to eat pizza and veggies while listening to Halloween songs and an awesome DJ. That DJ kept those kids dancing all night! There were even some Chiefs players on hand to give autographs. The line for the autographs was long, but Mitch Morse, Rakeem Nunez-Roches, Charcandrick West and Jarrod Pughsley kept things fun and moving.
This thing was so over-the-top fantastic that I had to know how to be a part of it every year. Turns out it is super easy. And a ridiculously good deal! The Kansas City Chief’s have a Kid’s Club. How awesome is that for their littlest fans! It is $30 per child to join, but once you are in- you are in! You don’t have to renew your membership and your child is able to participate until their 15th birthday.
When you enroll, you get a welcome kit full of goodies and admittance to their Kids Club events. Boo Bash is the only one I have attended, but Movie Night at Arrowhead and Football Frenzy at the Practice Facility sound like a blast too. There are even more perks included with membership, which you can find on their site. I hope to see you at their next event! Me and my kiddos will be there!
